I am recently retired from being a Building Services Engineer but still planning to do some part time work.
I enjoy visiting National Trust/ English Heritage locations, walking in the countryside and visiting anything that is interesting.
I like all sorts of music from all decades and often go to concerts, from tribute bands to the real artists ( if I can afford the tickets ! )
I watch sport as well and go to football and cricket matches occasionally, again if I can afford the tickets !
I like to eat out and like all types of cuisine, and I like to visit different countries and parts of the UK when I can as I will have more time now I hope.

I am a 41 year old (okay, nearly 42) man who has high functioning autism and dyslexia and have recently discovered that I have afantasia to add to the oddity that is me!
I am a very outdoorsieperson and I enjoy off road cycling, climbing, walking, and star gazing. When indoors I like TV, films, suduko's, computor games and conversation.
My best friend is my coco. She is an American Akita and its very much a case of ' love me love my dog'. I have always had an affinity with animals and wish that I had studied and got the qualifications required to work with them in my younger days. But, alas, instead I left home and moved to Brighton where I got involved in the Brighton student lifestyle and partied, played fire poi on the beach and Smoked too much maruwana. It took me a while to become an adult and I'm not sure that I have fully achieved it yet. Adulthood is overrated anyway. I now work as a maintenance man for out local community hospital and hub which is a charity organisation.
I am very close to my family. They are very supportive and I love them very much. But at the same time, I am very lonely and would love to meet a lady with similar interests for friendship and perhaps something deep, meaningful, rare and priceless. Hope to hear from you soon...
