I'm 76 yo but still fit and active. I'm 6ft tall, live alone in a 4 bed house with Jack the cat. I'm a lonely guy whose wife died after a short illness. I have a yacht which I used to race regularly but since my wife died I've kind of lost my enthusiasm. I like to walk in the woods close to my house every day. Within retirement I 'had' been doing a lot of travelling (various continents) and volunteering at both home abroad. 'Life is for Living' ! Currently been enjoying the comparable quietness of being at home, with life now getting back into some semblance of normality.
At home activities, within lockdown have been : loads of baking, setting up a vegetable garden and growing vegetables, family ancestry research - very interesting diverse, plannng to build a sun-lounge garden extension, various out-side and indoor house chores, looking after house lodgers (with their divergent lives), joined the Rotary International Committee and given an African support project, very recently had a very small 'speaking part' as a film extra in a local film (noting social distancing - interesting).
Usually, at home, within these retirement years, I weekly attend aquafit classes, sometimes play badminton, go out walking - independantly and with a local Ramblers group. I am also involved in other activities, 'but that is for another day, another time'. And, up-until-now, have also spent 'at home time' planning further travel adventures (This year : Japan, South Korea and travelling through China - to maybe have returned home via The Trans Mongolean (Beijing - St Petersburg) - were put on hold (at least my Japan tour deposit has been moved forward - for another year).
