Not your typical Australian male. I'm not into footy or cars. I don't have mainstream attitudes. I don't like pigging, or fishing, or 'roo shooting. I am into music: live, vinyl, and streaming. I love books, especially quirky fiction, fantasy, design, history, mythology and some sci-fi (I haven't had much time for it for a while, and the last 6 books I've read have been business books). I enjoy going on adventures, bush walking, going to the beach, going for a quiet drink in a bar or pub. I dig seeing live bands, going to the movies (or watching them at home), and I tend to like crappy television (as well as great shows like GoT, Homeland, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead. I have a decent size record collection, and a collection of comics from when I was a kid (and I still read comics sometimes), just for some insight into my character traits. I enjoy playing sport, although I haven't played in a team since last year when I was paying indoor soccer. I also like walking (and sometimes jogging), throwing a frisbee around, bowling, swimming (when I have time), and generally doing things with my kids (like going to the park and just hitting tennis balls to each other). I believe I am compassionate, forthright, sentimental, sometimes romantic, driven (but sometimes in the wrong direction, and to my own detriment), and I am a bit of an extroverted introvert... My kids, 9 and 5, mean the world to me, and I share custody of them, with them staying with me a week at a time (week on/week off), so that gives me some time to myself...
