I am 73 it really shocks me when I say because I dont feel that age!
My beloved of 23 years died in Nov. of vascular dementia. He was in different Assisted Livings for 6 years. I would spend time with him everyday, so hard to watch a loved go downhill a little more each day.
About me, I have 2 grown up sons, with families of their own. But we did make a pledge that they would meet at my house
On the last Sunday of the month , that way I am assure to see them at least 12 times a year. Not much but I take what I can get.
I am very lonely. I moved down here when was 28 with family and now they have all passed and I alone.
For some reason I never made friends down here. I was born, raised and went to school in Ct. But knew once we left we would never come back the prices are out of this world! I love mild season here and I try to get back home once a year I still have 2 brothers living there.
Well, aside from telling you I was a teacher for a while and found that was definitely not fo me and became Office Manager that suited me much better.
