I guess i'm a dreamer! my imagination has a tendency to run away with me at times transporting me to an altogether sparklier version of this world full of magic and adventure! I can be very impulsive, idealistic and hedonistic, and most people I know have called me crazy at some point - but those that know me well, i think, would trust me with their lives cause they know when it comes down to it I can be serious and rational and get pretty much anything done!I have a son and he's my world though i dont have him stay with me, Sometimes I get down about stuff, and I've been known to hit self destruct, but I'll always pull myself through in the end and get back on track. Recently I've learnt to accept that there are people who really care for me and can be depended on no matter what. I have a natural propensity to forgive. I can't hold a grudge against anyone, about anything. If anyone say's they are sorry, they probably are - at least sorry that they have upset you if not wholly regretful of their actions. I think it is easy to forgive, because I don't believe in having expectations of people, or at least that if you do - that person has any obligation to live up to them. forgive does not mean forget. I definately have my own outlook and never accept point blank norms or ideals that many people just take for granted. I'll always make up my own mind, challenge my beliefs, and be myself. but at least I don't just go along with other people's mistakes - I think making your own mistakes is the best way to learn lifes lessons! Though I can be quite hyper, bouncy and excitable, I'm very laid back in that I rarely get worked up or lose my temper. I find it's no way to deal with things, with time and good connection ,you would get to know more about me

Even just coffee together each morning would be cozy. <br> <br>I have science/engineering degrees from Yale, Duke, and the University of Virginia, a career as an engineering professor, and also as a Ph.D. research scientist at several large DoD government research labs. I have many research publications and some patents. I do most of my research in my head, equations and all, and find the challenge pleasurable, zen, like meditation is to others. <br> <br>I like to make my woman laugh. I like to make my woman feel loved. I would love being by a fire with my woman, in an intimate conversation or reading, especially at night with lights low, even more so watching snowfall through the window (illuminated by backlighting). I would love watching a thunderstorm roll in on a summer day together (ever notice the fresh smell of rain that precedes it?), her head on my shoulder. Such small things can make a big difference while weathering life's hardships together. <br> <br>I am originally from Richmond, VA, but I have lived (USA) in NC, WA, MS, CA, CT, and currently MD.
