Retired to a varied life (not in any order) of supporting refugees, listening to modern (mainly British) jazz, relaxing in Greece, writing a bit, property renovation, visiting grandchildren and pottering around with anything that takes my interest. Oh and trying to get my tax return in on time.

I enjoy food and wine (without being an obsessive foodie), walking and exploring nature, (without being a rambler) especially in Greece where the climate is better suited to such activities. I am gentle and sociable, if quite shy, and compassionate and romantic without being sentimental. And I try to be honest.
I am handy, plan well, get the most I can from limited funds. I guess I am a jack-of -all-trades and master of none (well maybe one or two, but I am also reasonably modest and self-effacing, so won't go into detail here). Everything in moderation based on getting the most I can from the rest of my life.
