I am a retired museum curator who previously trained as an English teacher. After many years of teaching I attended university to study for an MA in museum studies and was employed as curator of a local museum. <br>I am still interested in history and archaeology and enjoy visiting historic sites both locally and further afield. <br>I play the tenor drum in the City of Swansea Pipe Band and also teach the tenor drum. <br>I have three rare cats. They are Singapuras - the smallest breed of cat in the world. When I can I show them. <br>Another interest is furnishing miniature houses. I have just finished three houses based on Dylan Thomas Under Milk Wood. No dolls, just furniture based on the relevant times.

I am a retired English teacher living in South Wales. My only child, a daughter, lives with her family in Virginia Water.
My interests are history and archaeology. I left teaching to persue my interests and obtained a post with the local archaeological trust. This eventually lead to my post as curator of Neath museum. I returned to teaching after twenty years, and retired a few years ago.
I still maintain my interest in history and try to visit the many historical sites in West Wales. I also show my three rare Singapura cats.
I play drums in a Scottish pipe band and also teach the tenor drum to our new members.
