Solvent, housed, working with transport and free of ties. Finished the "getting over it bit". Of my long term relationship about six months ago. And I've been waiting to be sure. I do miss company and I'm ready to try dating again. So that's why I'm here.
Had enough of an eventful life that. I enjoy living quietly-is in the country. I paint a bit, I write a bit, I play a bass guitar a bit, I wander and roam about a lot. And then when that's all too much I go to the pictures and theatre, gigs, anything that's got something about it and might make me think.
I work for a charity cos I want to. I don't drink, I smoke but I can not smoke if the situation requires. I'm very open and candid.

I am a widower, my wife of 42 years died in 2020. I am now largely retired after working for many years in Prisons, although I still do some work for the Ministry of Justice , when I choose.
I have three children and 8 grandchildren who take up much of my time, but I still manage to enjoy several months in the Canary Islands each year. I love adventure and have a motorhome in which I have visited some 20 European countries.
I am solvent and people say I am good company. Caring, I am currently host to an Ukranian family.
