Hi, welcome and thanks for viewing me... I'm a fairly active old bugger, I work (driver) and in between morning and afternoon trips, look to walk regularly, daily if possible, doing a **** mile 'trek' in the countryfied area of Lathom, just outside of Ormskirk. A good friend lives there so we do a well worn circuit from his place.
I'm presently in Lydiate, although this may change in the next few months... divorced (many years ago, twice) have two 'children' (different mothers) and four wonderful grandkids, all my daughter's, she's a gluten for punishment!! :-)
Besides walking, like many, I'm a bit too much of a home bird, but in normal times, I enjoy trips to the movies, theatre, the odd meal out.. not really a pub person, as the noise is uncomfortable for me and I don't really drink. Although if my lady favoured the bar, I'd happily tag along...
I also enjoy historical places, houses, parks etc and am looking to join the national trust.
That's about it for here, if you'd like to know more, I'll happily tell you, either on here or better still, in person. Please note, as of 5th of July, I'm not a full member so until I am, I may not be able to read or respond to any messages...
NB Just in case you find it absolutely disgusting (as I do, to a point), I'm a smoker, have been since I was fourteen (Dad has a lot to answer for, me too), so if this turns you off, you may want to pass me by, if not and you don't like it, for the right 'one' I'll respect your space and may even give them up!

I have just started a new job as a complex care worker . I was in a nursing home before that. I really love my job the staff and residents are all so lovely. I have been a widow for the past 10 years ,but I have amazing children I cherish every day. I also hav a very energetic sprocker called buzz who keeps me busy. I love music , and going to the gym.
