I moved here alone, I didn't know where to start my life over so I chose this beautiful Island but I didn't realise how quiet Freshwater was. I have been here just over 4 years. I have Green eyes was informed that only 2 of the population have Green eye's wow it's true!
I have a Diploma in Animal care, Husbandry, Anatomy actually we covered everything from the nucleus, DNA etc. took 3 years. I am also a certified dog trainer and have puppy walked for the Police my love for German Shepherds will never end.
I feel ready to start a new relationship as I have been alone now for nearly 7 years so let's see what happens.

I am 66 and live in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. I am retried but I am a writer and so I keep on working. I write novels and books of poetry.
I am very spiritual but not religious in the conventional sense. I am relatively fit and well-educated and I am a vegan for ethical, environmental and health reasons.
I like to take my time in getting to know someone and I rarely judge a book by this cover. I much prefer to read each page closely.
I am introverted by nature and I gain pleasure in the simple things of of life such as nature. However, I also like walking, visiting places of historical interest as well as places of beauty.
I like art galleries and museums and gardens. I enjoy watching films either on the 'box' or at the cinema and I like going to the theatre is there is something that captures my interest.
My taste in films is very eclectic and the same is true for music.
I like some ballet and opera and some jazz as well as classical music and country and western etc.
I love all animals and I try to considerate of the views of others even if I do not agree with them. I tend to be relaxed, but then I avoid stressful environments as much as possible. I simply think that life is far too short for any unnecessary stress!
I am very down to earth and I prefer to dress casual as I find that makes me the most comfortable.
