My animals give me a lot of joy - most of the time. One of my geese, Maid Marian, had to share my bedroom when she was ill: very messy ~ until I remembered seeing some old nappies and order was restored. My beloved Scottish deerhound, Georgette Heyer is wonderful: when she comes to church, our vicar always gives her a blessing at the altar rail. I think she prefers the pub though.
