I am a Catholic widower. My wife passed away just under a year ago, but I have been alone (a virtual widower) for several years. I may be old but not yet decrepit, still lead an active life often doing rides on my pedelec. I have 2 grown up daughters living nearby and 5 grandchildren. I am originally from Ireland but left there in 'short trousers'😄. Most of my working life was in teaching; a career at which I survived rather than flourished. Later I started my own business doing IT support and web design. Although now substantially retired this is still ticking over to keep my brain active. Finally: As regards diet, the vegetarian question below is a simple yes/no option, whereas I am on a journey if not yet meatless, I am certainly moving towards a more plant based diet, for both health and environmental reasons.
