I am a considerate affectionate person who appreciates care and sensitivity. I love to meet people and to socialise. Although I am a committed Christian, my friends are from a wide background, and are both Christian and atheist. Some of these are bike riders, with whom I have ridden on many lengthy treks, and are a great bunch of blokes; years ago we formed a "wine club" ( 5 members ) which is still going strong. We get together one a month, and include partners ( or friends ) in special events where we use wine tasting as an excuse to get together and exercise our cooking skills.
I am interested in establishing friendships and I have, l believe, a good sense of humour. I love having fun, and verbally sparing with my trusted friends. I value thoughtful, intelligent discussions, and care greatly for, and am very proud of my three children, the youngest is 25.
I am active in volunteer work which I do regularly one day each week, although it requires extra work at home. I'm a retired music teacher, and still do emergency teaching when required.
